The Indiana School Board Association (ISBA) and Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents (IAPSS) held their 76th Fall Conference September 15-16th in Indianapolis.
Hundreds of School Board Members and Superintendents across Indiana were in attendance. 4 of the 5 Shakamak School Board members along with our Superintendent Dr. Jacinda Smith attended. Get well soon Jim!!
It was a great conference where a lot of good information was shared. Among the presenters was Shakamak’s very own Superintendent - Dr. Jacinda Smith and team from Lake Station Community Schools. They presented on - “From Transactional to Transformational: Being the Connective Tissue in Building Premier Partnerships That Redefine Career Readiness.” We are proud of Dr. Smith and team. They did a great job presenting a topic that is impactful to all schools and students.
